The truest photos I have taken have been of my brother Conrad. We are of the same blood. I have punched him in his face. We have gone fishing together. He has yelled at me. He has bitten me. I have neglected him. I have excluded him. I have hurt him. He has enlightened me. We slept in hammocks in the trees. We drank beer under a black blanket sky.

I am 24 years old. I live in Seattle. When it rains I read Hemmingway. When it snows we sled golf courses. When it is overcast I listen to The Beatles. When it is sunny I am sad. I am not going to pretend like I know what I'm talking about.
